San Diego County reported 2,759 new COVID-19 cases in the past four days, officials said Tuesday.

According to the county Health and Human Services Agency, a total of 4,691 cases were reported in the past week compared to 4,110 infections in the previous week.

The county’s cumulative coronavirus totals increased to 766,180 infections and 5,257 deaths as of Tuesday.

The most recent report of new cases stood at 516, with 13 deaths. Sunday’s report noted 632 new cases, Saturday’s 697 and Friday’s 914.

More than 2.95 million or 93.7% of San Diegans age 5 and older are at least partially vaccinated, while more than 2.61 million or 83.1% are fully vaccinated.

A total of 1,310,571 or 58.2% of the 2.25 million eligible San Diegans have received a booster shot.
