Girl Scout cookie season is still a few months away, but a new treat is being added to next year’s cookie lineup.
Girl Scouts San Diego and Girl Scouts of the USA will add a new cookie the Raspberry Rally to its nationwide lineup for the 2023 Girl Scout Cookie Season, which begins in San Diego and Imperial counties on Jan. 29, 2023.
The new Raspberry Rally is a thin, crispy “sister” cookie to the beloved Thin Mints, infused with raspberry flavor and dipped in the same delicious chocolaty coating. Raspberry Rally will be the first variety in the Girl Scout Cookie lineup to be offered exclusively for online sale and direct shipment, enhancing local Girl Scouts’ digital marketing and entrepreneurial skills.
Also available will be traditional favorites such as Thin Mints, Trefoils, Samoas and Do-Si-Dos.
The organization bills the Raspberry Rally as a sister to the popular Thin Mint, with a dark chocolate coating covering a raspberry-flavored interior instead of the traditional mint filling.
The new cookie is the first that will be exclusively offered for sale by the Girls Scouts online, with the product shipped directly to customers. Girl Scouts officials said the move is designed to enhance “girls’ e-commerce and entrepreneurial skills.”
Details on how to purchase cookies are available online at www.girlscoutsla.org.
